The Bins Bag and Bottles Initiative was envisioned too encourage environmental cleanliness, promote healthy lifestyles through the distribution of reusable water bottles to school children, distribution of garbage receptacles in parks and the sale of in-expensive, durable but attractive reusable bags of different designs. These items will encourage members of the public to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle under the theme "A Green Community is a Clean Community"

Green Thrive Shade House Vegetable Garden & Mini Fruit Farm is a collaboration of the Rotary Club of Garden City and the Rotary District 7030 aimed at reducing the “Food Bill” of the Cheshire Homes, to encourage healthy eating habits of the residents, and allow them to experience and appreciate vegetables and fruits from the ‘seed to the table’ – becoming “Ambassadors of Eating Healthy”.
The project commenced February 7, 2021, where Rotarians and residents in a shoe planting exercise experienced the miracle of planting a seed or a seedling and seeing it evolve to a plant. It was formally launched on June 5, 2021 to coincide with ‘World Environment Day 2021’ – under the theme “Ecosystem Restoration
The Cheshire Homes is situated on the East Coast Demerara, approximately 22 miles from the city Georgetown was built in 1972 and is managed by a committee of volunteers and is supported by the Government of Guyana, Private Individuals and many other Organizations, including Rotary.

The Rotary Club of Garden City collaborated with The Rotary Club of All Nations on a District Grant with a focus on "Disease Prevention & Treatment.
The clubs procured a portable electroencephalograms (EEG) and trained volunteers to use the equipment to support mental health assessment for adults.
The equipment which will be stored with Project Life, will offer support to the community of underprivileged adults as there is some lack of readily available mental health services in the county. The enhancement of the quality of life to the patients is unmeasurable.

To commemorate International Literacy Day The Rotary Club of Garden City (Georgetown) launched its first “Little Free Community Library” which is located in the compound of Cheshire Home, is aimed to serve the Mahaica Community. Literacy kits were also distributed to children in the community.
